Moog Music has announced the release of the latest update to the Moog Minitaur Bass Synth. The update is free for existing Minitaur owners and is referred to as Revolution 2 (Rev2). Rev 2 unlocks a slew of new performance features and implements a number of user requested updates to Minitaur and the free Minitaur Editor/Librarian.
It’s likely that one of the most desired features in the Rev 2 update is the 100 presets memory / storage. That’s right Minitaur owners can now store and save 100 presets directly on the Minitaur itself. These presets are then accessible from the top panel of the Minitaur but they are managed via the free Minitaur Editor/Librarian. This is a huge feature. I’m sure Minitaur owners will love this.
Other features include the ability to assign CV and Gate inputs via the the free Minitaur Editor/Librarian. The Mod and Pitch CV inputs are now rout-able to any given function. The Gate input is rout-able to various functions with an on/off behavior.
