Retronyms announces the availability of iMPC for iPhone. Less than a year ago iMPC for iPad devices hit the market. After updates iMPC matured a bit and shows even more promise in the future. Now that it is available for iPhone devices you can literally have the legendary king of sampling drum machines, the MPC, in your pocket. Boring “lecture classes” and “all-hands” organizational meetings will never be the same.

With the iMPC for iPhone Retronyms have introduced some additional features such as the new dimension of performance. “3D performance mode” utilizes the iPhones built-in three-axis gyroscope and accelerometer to create a motion sensing performance tool. As per Retronyms  “Take the classic MPC workflow, add a healthy dose of spatial awareness, and the result is the exciting new 3D Performance mode. Manipulate parameters using your iPhone’s motion sensor for unparalleled levels of expression and sonic deliciousness.”
