Here comes The Unkempt Breaks Collection of breaks…

unkemptbreaksBLIPHeads up. The Drum Broker is right back at you with this all new original Unkempt Breaks kit by MSXII Sound Design. The scoop is that this kit was recorded on the best of the best hardware and outboard equipment available. That is indeed the beauty of such a kit is that it brings to the bedroom producers and software aficionados what they cant run out and get for themselves. At least not until now.

MSXII Sound Design meticulously and painstakingly recorded these breaks in a totally pro environment. The sort of studio that most of us will never see te inside of. These breaks were “Recorded on an SSL Duality through Universal Audio 8110 + Avalon 737sp mic preamps. Microphones used include Shure Beta 52 & SM57, SE 4400, Schoeps CM, Coles 4038, and an Avantone CV-12.” According to my man The Drum Broker the Unkempt Breaks are “All original breaks in 3 BPMS. We are also giving out the multi-tracks for this one as well, so people can chop & mix ’til their hearts are content.” What a treat?! This may even serve as a learning tool for some.

Now, if you can recite the list of equipment 10 times really fast (wow you really know your stuff!) and then open the door to your closet and have every piece of it in there ready to create your own breaks, well, I guess you can just close your browser now and move on. But if you are like most of us you might want to consider copping this Unkempt Breaks kit and allow it to enliven your beats.

Peep the teaser vid (hmmmm drum lust)
