DJ Grand Wizzard Theodore is considered the inventor of scratching; the turntable technique that forever changed Hip Hop music! The story of how he accidentally created the scratch in his bedroom in 1975 is a funny one of fate, but it was by no means his only contribution to Hip Hop. His skills on record dropping helped perfect that style and ushered in the popularity of that technique, which resulted in the incorporation of record dropping in many performances, records and videos. DJ Grand Wizzard Theodore has also become a spokesman for the meaning of the Hip Hop movement and the culture, in addition to music, which it represents.
