Corry BanksAkai Pro announced that the new 1.3 version of MPC software will be released on February 15th. The new 1.3 software will feature a few very welcomed improvements. The new software will also include a new Vintage Mode that will live beneath the “other” button. It’s called the SP 1200 Ring Mode. The SP 1200 Ring Mode gives the sound a really grimey and ill sound. This ring mode literally evokes the images of Boogie Down Productions on stage with the SP 1200 making live beats on stage for a rowdy crowd of B-boy and B-girls.
