For those of us who can not afford the mega workstation synth, the Korg Kronos, Korg has created Krome. The more affordable little brother, so to speak, of the Kronos. Hmmm… I’ve had my eye on the Korg SV-1 for the incredible Rhodes and Wurli Electric Piano sounds and the feel of its keyboard bed. If the Krome has those same attributes at $600 less… we may have a new interest on the block. At any rate, the Krome looks like a seriously affordable heavyweight.
