So, what if I said you could have a brand new ARP 2600 in 2013? No, they aren’t being reissued. A small outfit out of Stockholm, Sweden called The Human Comparator have developed a DIY ARP 2600 clone kit. For the electronically handy musician with a desire to own an ARP 2600, the Arp 2600 clone, or as it is properly named, the Two Thousand Six Hundred (TTSH) is just for you.

The Two Thousand Six Hundred (TTSH) doesnt have midi. It is approximately 78% of the size of the original 2600. At the moment it is still in the prototyping phases. But the sound is amazing and it slated for release in September of 2013. Price point is approximately $1000. For more FAQs check out The Human Comparator website.

Care to keep up with the progress, head over to the MuffWiggler forum if you dare.
