Moog Music Inc. is hard at work preparing for the Moogfest next month with this test run of the DFAM – Drummer-From-Another-Mother.

Every year Moog Music Inc has a little something extra special for the Engineer VIP Pass synth heads to build at Moogfest. This year its the DFAM, Drummer-From-Another-Mother percussion synthesizer.

I have to say that I’d love to get my hands on one of those. I hope they make this one available commercially just as they did with the Werkstatt a few years back. I was fortunate enough to be a part of 2014’s VIP Engineer’s group.

Moog earlier today posted this short demo video to Moog Music’s facebook page. Click the image above to check  out the Moog DFAM percussion synth in action.

Check out the form factor. I dig that Moog seems to be adopting the Mother 32 form factor for things like this.  Makes it easy to rack into eurorack. However, I have no point of reference for whether or not DFAM can be racked that way.
