There is a new iOS synth on the block. It’s called DRC created by Imaginando.

According to the Imaginando website. “Rui Antunes is an audio and analog electronics master. Nuno Santos is an experienced computers engineer. Friends for almost two decades, they share a huge passion for music and technology. Together they built DRC. ”

DRC presents well with a clean user interface. The interface is tabbed so as to allow the user to select the portion of the synth that they want to see at any moment. Overall, it looks to be a very intuitive UI.

Apparently this new app is not really an iOS only app. It is designed to be used as a cross platform synth app on iOS, Android and VST. DRC also boasts cloud sharing of presets. As described “innovative preset management system allows you to store your presets on the cloud and sync them across all available platforms.” DRC also provides what is refers to as the Chorder “integrated chorder makes it easy to instantly get the most out of DRC, allowing you to quick experiment with powerful chords.”
