Corry BanksApparently the top of August is a good time for fresh new hip-hop music from the likes of new comers and legends. In this case, the fresh new hip-hop is from J Dilla in the form of Diamonds and Ice.
Diamonds and Ice according to RapCats.com is the 2nd single from “Dilla’s long lost vocal album, The Diary, with the first Pay Jay single “Anthem.”” Rap Cats also states ““Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)” was produced Nottz, and “Ice (The Shining Pt. 2)” was produced by Madlib”
Well, all that said, I am definitely looking forward to The Diary. It’s also worth noting that this and subsequent releases come straight from The Estate of James Yancey and the newly revived imprint Pay Jay Productions which is all backed by Dilla’s family. #DOPE #SUPPORT
