Dam Drum 2.0  is one of the most innovative and tech-cool promo items that I have ever seen. For $99 you can have a piece of history with this handheld drum machine made by Bleep Labs in conjunction with Dam-Funk and Stones Throw Records. Apparently, the Dam Drum 2.0 had sold out but Stones Throw has a new limited run of 30 available for the moment. Good Luck

Dam Drum 2.0 is not only a drum machine but a sequencer too. It has four sounds in it that were hand picked by Dam-Funk. Three of the four sounds are apparently based on Rolands R70 while the final sound is based on Roland Juno 106 bass sound.

Frankly, I think this is brilliant and I’m hopeful that it starts a trend. BBoy Tech approves this message.

Version 2.0 of the HANDHELD DRUM MACHINE & SEQUENCER, a collaboration with Dam-Funk, Bleep Labs & Stones Throw.
Hand made, limited edition

Dam-Drum is a handheld drum machine and sequencer with four unique sounds selected by Dam-Funk. This is a collaboration with Dam and Bleep Labs, who designed and built the drum in Austin, Texas.

Version 2.0 features four new drum sounds – three based on the Roland R70 and a pitchable bass tone modeled after a Juno 106 – with new buttons and a matte circuit board.

Like the Dam-Drum version 1, released summer 2012, this version is handmade and limited edition.

Includes a case and function controls instruction sheet. Requires a 9 volt battery (not included). Concept by Scotty Coats. Special thanks to Doug at Flud Watches.
