Corry BanksDave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 was probably the best kept secret up until the NAMM show 2013. Everywhere I went there was someone saying something like “you gotta see the Prophet 12”. Well, once I stopped by the Dave Smith Instruments booth I understood why. This is truly a beautiful analog synth. From the OLED display to the wooden underlay beneath the keybed this is bar far one of the most well designed synths I’ve ever seen. Not to mention, the feature list seems nearly endless. I will let you hear from the cat that demonstrates the Prophet 12.
